True Blood Episode 305: Trouble

Franklin totally made this episode! Although he’s not the hottest, he has definitely become my favorite new character. He’s just nuts! The “passion is electric.” Tara has managed quite well to keep Franklin calm, but how is she going to get out of being his new vampire bride? Maybe her only choice is to embrace the crazy, but with Sookie being captured maybe she’ll be able to help her.

Eric has come to see Russell in hopes of saving Pam and find Bill but he discovered much more then he had in mind, his father’s killer and the leader of Operation Werwolf. Will Eric be able to hold it together the next time he faces Russell and see Sookie in tow? Eric’s flashback was great. I love to see Viking Eric. Swoon! I have a feeling Russell is going to be sorry that he invited the sheriff of area 5 to stay with him.

It was nice to see Bill finally snap out of it and come to Sookie’s aid. One of my favorite lines of the night is when Bill called Lorena a “tiresome cow”. The King now has what the Queen has long been after and what Bill’s been struggling to protect. Along with a taste of just how useful having Sookie could be. As Talbot says, Russell loves to collect things.

The preview for next week looks awesome! All of the storylines are converging and some serious shit is going to go down. I can’t believe we’re already 5 episodes in. I have to say, I’m really loving this season!

“Look how fast I can type mother fucker…”

Great episode. Sookie's powers are really starting to show and she seems to be getting more control over them. Can't wait until next week.

Franklin is a fun kind of crazy and I found myself only wanting to shank Tara once during this episode. I let hubs watch with me for the first time and he had his eyebrows scrunched up in that "WTF" look the whole time. It was excellent.

I think that Chrystal's a Fae. I wish Tara would go back to her old self and kick some a&**.

I think Chrystal is a werepanther... what do ya think?

I have read the books, so I don't want to spoil the storyline about Crystal. She is not normal and some of the comments above are on the right track!

Great episode. The show is really bizarre this season with werewolves, more changelings like Sam, and Mississippi Vampire King. The possibilty of Tara becoming a vampire bride, is an interesting direction the show could go as well. This is definitely one of the most interesting seasons of the three so far. I am very curious to see how the story evolves around Sookies new found powers that ended this episode.

Oh my dear goodness- Franklin, I love the delusion! Tara is being weird, but what the hell else is she supposed to do, Franklin is psycho haha

So Eric is going to try to kill the King of Mississippi for vengeance but what the hell is gonna happen with Sookie and this weird power?

Crystal and Jason are moving so fast, there is no way she is human.

Bill was pissing me off with his whole pretending not to love Sookie phase, even if he was to protect her. Thank God that's over.

Ps: I want to punch Lorena in the face.

What's up with Jessica crying 'human' tears. She's a vampire, her tears are suppose to be blood. Did anyone else notice

This was by far the best episode yet. I can't wait for this week's. I like it so but better than last season!!! and i am so glad Bill ran to Sookie's aide and yes I would like to punch Lorena face also she needs it!!!

I guess I am one of the only ones who are over Bill and Sookie....i kind of want everyone to turn against Bill and his "woe-is-me-ima-vampire" attitude. It is so irritating and boring. Either that or he should stick with Lorena with her evil peer pressure.
Tara is really great now that she's figured out how to handle Franklin. I just loved the way he said "eeeelectric"....i love his character!!

Yeah this season is really good! This episode was definitely my favorite so far. Franklin Mott is extremely hilarious and my favorite Viking was looking as scrumptious as always.

I'm so excited for tomorrow night's episode. It looks like it is going to be so good! I'm particularly excited to see what Eric and Russell are going to do with the queen and why Eric yelled "you mean nothing to me!" at Sookie.

Russell is also one of my favorite characters. He seems more ruthless in the show than he was in the books but I still like him. I love Talbot as well! Very good episode.

Man, everyone is so hard on Tara! I freaking love her! She is one of the most real characters on the show, and it was hilarious to see her react to Franklin's insanity (love him! and love the "watch how fast i can type motherfucker" god, brilliant). Now that the whole Eggs thing is over, she's coming back to her hilarious, tough, survivor self, which is what I believe she embodies.

I also think it's an interesting concept-Eric avenging his father from his HUMAN life, seeing as he goes around acting like he cares so little for them. He would be carrying out an act that he swore to do while he was human. It goes against the whole leaving behind that life once you're turned.

Oh, and does anyone else want to see Tommy and Jessica hook up as much as I do? I was a huge fan of her and Hoyt, but idk. A shifter and a vampire just sounds good. Plus, they're both coming from seriously messed up backgrounds and need someone to make them feel normal.
