True Blood Episode 304: 9 Crimes

Two weeks was way too long to wait, so glad I had my True Blood fix tonight!

All of the events surrounding Sookie, Bill, and the Queen are all leading back to Eric’s search for the vampire in charge of Operation Werwolf since World War II, which we now know is Russell Edgington. The war between the King and Queen has begun. And Bill and Eric are already in the cross fire. It was very smart of Pam to give the Magister Bill’s name which may be the catalyst for Eric to join Sookie in Mississippi and discover the truth.

Franklin Mott is becoming more of a psychopath by the minute. During his time in Bon Temps, he found the answer to his lonely existence, Tara. Nothing says love like flowers and duck tape. We also discovered that he’s working for Russell and is back with the information he gathered about Bill and Sookie. Could the information he passes to the King weaken the new alliance between Bill and the King? Is this what causes the King to send Franklin to collect Sookie?

Is Bill losing too much of himself in his attempt to protect Sookie, that even when she does find him, will she be able to forgive him?

Tonight is the first time we’ve seen Eric day dream about Sookie, not even Yvette from Estonia could distract him. It seems he his having a difficult time keeping his feelings for her at bay. Bill seems to be stepping aside, but will Alcide move in before Eric has a chance to lay his claim?

Sookie can’t seem to keep herself out of trouble. If it’s not a coven of vampires, then it’s a bar full of shifting werewolves! I will say she was working the leather and tats pretty well. Alcide did his best to protect her, but you can only do so much mid-shift. Bill felt her fear, but to have protected her then would have ultimately put her in more danger with the King.

What do you guys think?

I think its obvious that this whole season will revolve around what Sookie is exactly and Bill has always known but kept it to himself. Bill might have been sent to find her to figure out what she is for the Queen, who seems to know something, as she has Sookie's cousin staying in her harem and warned Eric not to fall in love with Sookie last season. Maybe Sookie has some kind of ability to restore a vampire's humanity (why Bill loves her so much and Eric had that day dream).

This season is starting off so much stronger than last IMO. The charactors seam more 3 dimentional and the writing is better than the last few eps of Season 2. The best part of the episode was the Eric dream about Sookie. At least when Sookie dreamed of Eric and Sam had his dream for Bill, they were asleep. Eric is dreaming in his waking hours. She really is effecting him.

Sorry, didn't mean to spoil anything. I haven't read the books or anything so I its just pure speculation. I think last season was a bit of a tease because they really didn't expand on the socio-political structure of the Vampires because they spend a lot of time on Marianne. So far its been really good.

Please, can Jessica and Holt just get back together. I love that story line the most. I really wonder how Tara is going to save herself.

I dont think Tara will make it out of this season alive...You talk about Sookie always getting in trouble, Tara is one that has stayed in trouble from the get and can't ever find her way out.

Tara = a hot mess; she just cant get it together!!! I can wait to see what all has yet to be shown in regards to everyones motives. How is Lorna gonna die? if that happens...there are so many questions and it just getting started. I cant wait!!!!

FYI the books up to this time period or several books after dont cover Sookie being anything other than a telepath so it is a mystery to everyone what the show has in mind. I am so curious about the Stackhouse family tree that Franklin Mott discovered in the secret drawer at Bills.

I thought someone mentioned that Sookie is 1/2 Fae?

I am disappointed in the brutality towards women on the show. It would be great this season without the nasty torture of women. why go there to such a sickening extent, with guys not suffering the same?

This show leaves me craving more after every episode. This session I can't tell where they are headed.
I do love Alcide however! He is slowly becoming my favorite.
Sookie does seem to have a compelling effect on vampires..they never feel the same after she gets involved...
I hope they keep the Tara storyline going..with Franklin in the picture it could be more interesting than her screaming about Eggs..
Great show..no complaints.
